US-based fast-casual restaurant chain Chicken Salad Chick is set to expand its footprint in the state of Texas with a new location in Missouri City.
To open on 18 March 2025, the new outlet at 9330 Highway 6 will be the chain’s 36th restaurant in the state.
The Missouri City location will offer in-restaurant seating, outdoor patio dining, drive-through service, kerbside pickup, take-out, third-party delivery and catering.
Chicken Salad Chick president and CEO Scott Deviney stated: “Texas continues to be a priority growth market for Chicken Salad Chick, and we’re excited to continue expanding our footprint statewide.”
Ron and Kathleen Ram, franchise owners of multiple Chicken Salad Chick locations, will operate the new restaurant.
The couple currently manages four other locations in Houston, Katy and Cinco Ranch.
Their franchising experience spans 15 years, having previously operated Pizza Patron outlets across Texas.
The first 100 guests on opening day will receive free chicken salad for a year.
Ron Ram said: “With each new location, our passion for the brand deepens. From the very start, Chicken Salad Chick’s mission to Spread Joy, Enrich Lives and Serve Others has spoken to us, and we can’t wait to bring that same warmth and hospitality to Missouri City.”
The restaurant chain will offer additional promotions and giveaways throughout its opening week, including branded merchandise and complimentary menu items for early customers.
Founded in Auburn, Alabama in 2008 by Stacy and Kevin Brown, Chicken Salad Chick now has 290 locations across 21 US states.
The brand offers chicken salad varieties, soups, sandwiches and desserts.
In February 2025, the fast-casual restaurant chain announced plans to open new locations in Braselton, Georgia; Bowling Green, Kentucky and Westminster station shopping centre, Maryland.
