Mediterranean fast-casual restaurant brand CAVA has marked its entry to the US state of Indiana with a restaurant in the Indianapolis metropolitan area.

The 3,000ft² Fishers location comprises a 40-seat dining room and facilities for digital pick-up and delivery.

The restaurant serves Mediterranean-inspired bowls, pitas, dips and dressings.

The opening brings CAVA’s operations to 26 US states and the District of Columbia. The brand’s growth strategy aims for 1,000 restaurants by 2032.

In the fiscal year 2024, CAVA opened 58 new restaurants. It anticipates at least 17% growth in 2025.

As part of its Midwest expansion, it will launch its second Indianapolis urban location later in 2025.

CAVA hosted a Community Day event before the official opening of the new restaurant. The event raised funds to support Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana to fight hunger.

Located at 11594 Whistle Drive, Suite 150, Fishers, CAVA operates from 10:45am to 10pm.

Co-founder and CEO Brett Schulman said: “Our category-defining Mediterranean concept has received a warm welcome in every community we’ve entered and grown in, and we’re excited to bring our vibrant flavours and hospitality to Indiana with the opening of our first Fishers location,”.

“We look forward to welcoming the Hoosiers community to our table as we continue delivering on our mission of bringing heart, health and humanity to food.”

In October 2024, CAVA introduced its Garlic Ranch Pita Chips nationwide.

They are seasoned with a Mediterranean-inspired blend, featuring onion, garlic, paprika and CAVA’s signature herb mix.
