Nozzleman Pizza has opened its first Walmart location in Carson City in the US state of Nevada, signalling the start of an expansion strategy.
The franchise serves products including deep-dish-style pizzas. It opened a location during the summer of 2023 in Sparks, Nevada.
Founded by entrepreneurs Jesse Corletto and Robert Powells, it aims to establish a presence inside 17 Walmart stores across six states in 2025.
Following the initial launch, the brand is scheduled to open additional outlets in northern Nevada’s Gardnerville, Fallon and Reno Walmart stores by late summer.
The expansion will continue into Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, Wyoming and Utah, with aspirations to reach all 50 US states.
Powells stated: “Walmart is an iconic American brand with an unparalleled customer base. We couldn’t dream of a better collaboration than with a company that shares our commitment to the communities we serve. The opening of our store in Carson City represents the first step in an ambitious growth strategy that blends quality food with our mission of supporting the first responders who serve our communities.”
Co-founder Jesse Corletto, a retired firefighter, launched Nozzleman Pizza to honour first responders.
Backed by celebrity investors such as Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, the brand donates proceeds to local fire stations and partners Jeremy Renner’s RennerVation foundation to support at-risk youth.
Corletto also serves on the foundation’s board.
Powells added: “With Walmart locations, our franchisees have the potential to tap into high-foot-traffic stores with a very loyal customer base helping to ensure financial stability. We would love for people to come join our family and become franchisees of a wonderful brand.”
Nozzleman Pizza is expanding to bring its signature-style pizzas to communities nationwide with celebrity support and a commitment to firefighters.
