Family-owned Italian restaurant chain Beggars Pizza has teamed up with Onosys, a provider of enterprise platforms for digital ordering, to optimise digital ordering processes.

The partnership aims to enhance the guest experience with call centre and marketplace management solutions.

The initial phase of the project, featuring advanced call centre technology, has already been successfully launched.

Beggars Pizza chief marketing and operations officer Amanda Garetto-Melvin said: “Beggars Pizza recently launched both marketplace management and call centre solutions in partnership with Onosys.”

“Offboarding and onboarding can be a painful experience; however, thanks to the excellent communication, attention to detail, rapid responses and the personal touch with care from every person at Onosys has been both a pleasure and a refreshing change of pace. We are excited about how these systems will continue to elevate both our guest and staff experiences.”

The Onosys platform is designed to integrate seamlessly with Beggars Pizza’s point-of-sale (POS), loyalty and payment systems.

This integration ensures real-time product updates, accurate pricing and streamlined workflows for employees managing guest orders.

The restaurant chain has also adopted the Onosys marketplace solution, which simplifies the process of publishing menus and pricing across various marketplaces.

The olution directly injects orders into the POS system, eliminating the need for additional hardware such as tablets at all Beggars Pizza locations.

Onosys president Chris Anderle added: “We are thrilled to partner with Beggars Pizza, a beloved brand with a rich history and a loyal customer base.

“By integrating our call centre and marketplace solutions, we’re helping them deliver a frictionless experience for their customers. We look forward to supporting Beggars Pizza as they continue to grow and enhance their offerings.”

In 2023, Onosys introduced its Marketplace offering for capturing orders from food delivery platforms.

The product is designed to reduce order errors, staff time and equipment costs for restaurant operators.
