American fast casual restaurant chain Fuzzy’s Taco Shop has added a popular Mexican street food dish to its menu for a limited time.

The Carne Campechano Taco and Bowl offering will be available from 26 March to 6 May 2025.

The new street-style dish features brisket, chorizo and bacon grilled in the campechano style.

The Carne Campechano Taco is topped with ingredients such as grilled onions, candied jalapeños, fried onions, chipotle aioli, avocado, feta cheese and fresh cilantro [coriander], bringing hints of smokiness, spiciness and sweetness.

The Carne Campechano Bowl offers the same protein mix served over cilantro lime rice and black beans, complemented by pico de gallo, pickled slaw and guacamole.

Fuzzy’s Taco Shop director of culinary Daniel Camp stated: “We took one of the most delicious Mexican street food staples and gave it the full Fuzzy’s treatment. Brisket, chorizo, and bacon all sizzling together on the grill […] then we piled on the flavours with candied jalapeños, crispy onions, and chipotle aioli to bring it all together in our unique Fuzzy’s way.”

The new items will be available at participating Fuzzy’s Taco Shop locations throughout the nation.

Fuzzy’s was founded in 2003 in Fort Worth, Texas, and has expanded to operate 17 restaurants across 15 states, including one company-owned location in Texas, as of 31 December 2024.

The brand is franchised by affiliates of Dine Brands Global, based in Pasadena, California.
