Office and Administrative Support Occupations, with a share of 42%, emerged as the top individualism & expression-related job roles within the food service industry in Q2 2024, with new job postings rising by 141% quarter-on-quarter. Management Occupations came in second with a share of 8% in Q2 2024, with new job postings rising by 85% over the previous quarter.
The other prominent individualism & expression roles include Food Preparation and Serving Related Occupations with a 7% share in Q2 2024, Healthcare Support Occupations with a 5% share of new job postings.

The top companies, in terms of number of new job postings tracked by GlobalData, as of Q2 2024 were Aimbridge Hospitality, Community Options, Brunning & Price, Sodexo, and Welcome Break Group. Together they accounted for a combined share of 85% of all individualism & expression-related new jobs in the food service industry.
Aimbridge Hospitality posted 4,323 individualism & expression-related new jobs in Q2 2024, Community Options 429 jobs, Brunning & Price 339 jobs, Sodexo 217 jobs, and Welcome Break Group 136 jobs, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics.
Hiring activity was driven by the US with an 83.10% share of total new job postings, Q2 2024
The largest share of individualism & expression-related new job postings in the food service industry in Q2 2024 was in the US with 83.10% followed by the UK (10.78%) and Australia (1.53%). The share represented by the US was 16 percentage points higher than the 67.37% share it accounted for in Q1 2024.
