US-based food pre-ordering platform Allset has launched free contactless ordering solution to assist restaurants in the country and offer a safe dining experience amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
The solution enables diners to place orders for pickup or dine-in, pay and track order status by scanning a QR code placed at the restaurant’s entrance or at the table.
It is expected to reduce the interaction between the restaurant staff and guests and fulfil orders with minimum human contact. It also eliminates the need for touching menus, credit cards and cash.
Furthermore, the solution reduces lines and improves table turn times for restaurants.
Allset CEO Stas Matviyenko said: “The new low-contact dining environment is a challenge for everyone. We want to help restaurants better adapt to the situation, meet the government guidelines for re-opening and keep the guests and employees safe while delivering the same great dining experience.
“We believe that today, we lay the ground for a safer and more seamless era of dining out as the post-pandemic world will be more digitised and there will be a greater appreciation of on-demand convenience.”
Allset is providing commission-free orders for takeout and dine-in. The discount on first order for all customers will be paid by the company.
Additionally, customers who order on-site through Allset remain commission-free for a lifetime.
Furthermore, the solution has been designed for restaurants in all categories, including full service and quick-serve.
Allset is offering its solution in more than 3,000 restaurants nationwide, including Joe & The Juice, Buffalo Wild Wings, Subway and many more.
The pandemic has forced restaurants across the world to embrace touchless solutions to ensure the safety of their employees and customers.
Many food ordering platforms, including Paytronix Systems, BellyMelly and Konnect Solutions, have launched similar technological solutions that make contactless dining possible.
