A portfolio of 13 UK-based pubs, restaurants and bars operated by the hospitality group Antic has entered administration.
The development comes amidst ongoing pressures from legacy liabilities incurred by the hospitality company during the Covid-19 pandemic.
In a media release dated 12 July 2024, Interpath Advisory, a multi-disciplinary advisory company, confirmed that its managing director Steve Absolom and Will Wright were appointed joint administrators for Elflock, Babel Silk, Brocade and De Gremio.
These entities operate local pubs, restaurants and bars in south and east London, including the Antelope in SW17, Balham Bowls Club, the Dogstar in Brixton and Tooting Tram and Social.
Babel Silk owns three further locations that are not currently active.
The pubs and bars are expected to continue trading as usual until they are put on the market.
