Avocados From Mexico has collaborated with Which Wich Superior Sandwiches to introduce a twist on the classic sandwich, capitalising on the growing avocado-based sandwich trend.

The AvoWich will replace traditional bread buns with ripe avocados, offering a breadless alternative.

The item will feature turkey, ham, bacon, lettuce, tomato, cheddar cheese, mayo, and honey mustard nestled between two avocado halves, finished with a special seasoning.

Avocados From Mexico CEO Alvaro Luque said: “Our partnership with Which Wich is the perfect example of how innovation drives everything we do. We aim to constantly re-imagine all the ways to enjoy our always good avocados — and by experimenting with new applications within the foodservice space, we’re able to showcase the versatility of avocados in an entirely new light.”

This new offering refers to the rising popularity of avocados, especially in the US, where Mexico remains the only country able to meet the year-round demand for the produce due to its climate.

Avocados From Mexico boasts a better supply chain efficiency, delivering avocados from orchards to US tables within three to five days throughout the year.
