US-based ready-to-blend beverages maker Barfresh Food Group has signed agreements to serve its drinks across 75 US military dining facilities.
The company expects to start serving its drinks at all locations by the end of December this year.
As part of the deal, the drinks maker will offer smoothies at various military foodservice programmes.
Barfresh CEO Riccardo Delle Coste said: “Based on our successful launch in 2018, we are aggressively expanding our reach within this large channel.
“In a very short period of time, we have increased our contracted locations to over 75 signed dining facilities throughout the US.
“There are many reasons our company is expanding in multiple channels including the very positive feedback we receive on our great tasting, better-for-you smoothie that is a perfect fit for the high volume military dining facilities, as well as schools, restaurants, and business facilities. We look forward to communicating additional placements in the coming months.”
Barfresh is also planning to expand its services to more dining locations in January next year.
It is currently exploring engagement opportunities with all US military facilities and expects to offer services across all 800 bases with 1.3 million active troops in the country.
The company is seeking opportunities to serve international military locations next year.
Barfresh Food Group offers a range of ready-to-blend beverages such as smoothies, shakes and frappes for restaurant chains and the foodservice industry across North America.
