Bartolotta Restaurants has expanded its portfolio with the launch of The Commodore in the Greater Milwaukee region of the US state of Wisconsin.
The new establishment is housed within a historic waterfront property, offering a fine dining experience and event spaces with picturesque views of Nagawicka Lake.
The main level of The Commodore features several dining rooms, each with a view of the lake.
In a tribute to the site’s heritage, the private dining rooms are named Margo’s and Pepper’s after the Margo’s Pepper Tree restaurant, which occupied the location from 1976 to 1978.
The restaurant features an expansive bar area with both indoor and patio seating options.
Bartolotta Restaurants owner and co-founder, the chef Paul Bartolotta, said: “The Commodore – A Bartolotta Restaurant, while contemporary, takes inspiration and is dedicated to the legacy and rich history of Nagawicka Lake and [the] Lake Country.
“We are excited to unveil this two-year project and bring this iconic property back to life. We view this as a long-term commitment to the Lake Country community as we are now custodians, building new legacies and memories for generations to come.”
“We look forward to greeting our guests with the hospitality heart that they have come to know and love from the Bartolotta Restaurants.”
The upper level of The Commodore is dedicated to catering and special events.
The Grand Heritage Ballroom, which can be split into two separate areas, draws its name from when the property was named Heritage on the Lake and the Spirit of ’76 Resort & Disco.
