Beans & Brews Coffeehouse, Utah-headquartered operator and franchisor of coffeehouses in Utah, Idaho, and Nevada in the US, has secured growth investment from private equity firm Charger Investment Partners.
The size of the investment was not revealed. It was made in partnership with the company’s founders Jeff and Kevin Laramie on 31 December 2020.

By GlobalDataFamily owned since 1993, Beans & Brews Coffeehouse is also a wholesaler of specialty roasted coffee beans made using its High-Altitude Roasting process.
The brand currently operates 58 company-owned and franchise locations across the western US.

Following the investment, Charger operating partner Chris Dull will become a part of Beans & Brews’ board of directors.
Dull, who has extensive experience as a CEO, has been a board member to a number of businesses in the food and beverage and franchise space.

In December last year, Baristas Coffee Company opened its 50th Munchie Magic virtual restaurant location in Seattle, Washington, US.
