Real estate firm Bielat Santore & Company has sold Dempster’s Sports Pub & Restaurant, located in Mount Holly Township, New Jersey, US.
The 5,000ft² sports bar, featuring 20 TVs, is a local favourite for sports enthusiasts and supports various local sports leagues.
The establishment is located in Mount Holly Township, known for its community sports involvement and strategic position within an Urban Enterprise Zone.
The pub is located off Route 38, 25 minutes from Philadelphia and an hour from the Jersey Shore.
As the Dempster family considered retirement, they sought the expertise of Bielat Santore & Company’s sales associate Bob Gillis to market their property, including a valuable Class C plenary retail consumption liquor licence.
Gillis successfully identified the buyers, the Gallaghers, who had been searching for an Irish, sports-themed pub.
Gillis said: “The Gallaghers were the right family to take over the operation, and the timing could not have been better.”
The entire sales process was managed by Bielat Santore & Company, from transaction negotiation and drafting the letter of intent to recommending legal representation, arranging financing and finalising the sale.
The new owners have named the establishment Gallagher’s Taproom and will continue operations while implementing minor renovations and rebranding.
