UK-based fast food chain Bleecker Burger is set to further its presence in London with the opening of its seventh location, which will be on Baker Street, in April 2025.
The latest expansion follows the brand’s outlet at Seven Dials Market, which launched in March.
The Baker Street site will be the group’s largest to date with 28 covers, and will offer delivery services.
The fast-food chain has taken out a loan to support its expansion – the first time in Bleecker Burger’s history that it has sought external funding for growth, as reported by The Caterer.
The Baker Street menu will feature the group’s celebrated Bacon Double Burger, which won the National Burger of the Year 2024 title, alongside the Cheeseburger, the Blue Cheeseburger, and the vegan Symplicity Burger, all available with fries.
Bleecker Burger chief executive Zan Kaufman said: “After 12 years, we’re taking a bold leap with our first-ever loan, fuelling our growth while staying true to what matters most: epic food, an incredible team and standing up for what’s right.”
Since its inception in 2012 as a food truck, Bleecker Burger has grown to seven sites, all of which are in London: Baker Street, Bloomsberg Arcade, London Bridge, Seven Dials Market, Spitalfields, Victoria and Westfield Shepherds Bush.
Bleecker Burger opened its restaurant on Tooley Street near London Bridge, its first in five years, in August 2024, coinciding with National Burger Day, as reported in restaurant.
Founder Zan Kaufman hinted at further growth in November, stating an intention to open two more sites within the following weeks.
Bleecker Burger also runs three delivery-only sites in Canary Wharf, Battersea and Maida Vale.
