US-based fast-food restaurant chain Bojangles has announced the addition of the Chicken Rice Bowl to its menu for a limited time.

The new addition is a fusion of the brand’s signature flavours and ingredients.

Chicken Rice Bowl is a combination of Bojangles’ Dirty Rice and Cajun Pintos, topped with shredded Monterey Jack and Cheddar cheeses.

Customers can choose to pair this meal with Bojangles’ Chicken Supremes or grilled chicken breast.

To complement the meal, Texas Pete hot sauce is provided on the side.

Customers can place orders through the Bojangles app or website as well as via food delivery services.

Bojangles menu and culinary innovation vice-president Marshall Scarborough stated: “The Chicken Rice Bowl is right on time as the season of enjoying warm comfort food approaches.

“The combination of flavours works so well together, from the Cajun Pintos to the Dirty Rice and the juicy, savoury grilled chicken or Supremes.

“Texas Pete complements our food so well that we had to serve it on the side for those guests wanting to take their flavour experience to the next level.”

In August 2023, Bojangles signed a multi-unit development agreement to open 20 new locations in Las Vegas.

The restaurant brand also announced its plans to open ten new venues in TravelCenters of America locations across Western markets.

The Bojangles outlets in the Western markets will be led by TravelCenters of America franchisee LVP Restaurant Group, which is part of LV Petroleum, and its investment partner Kingsbarn Realty Capital.

Kingsbarn will identify and acquire properties suitable for the new Bojangles developments.
