US fast food chain Bojangles, known for its Southern food classics, has announced the introduction of a new Peach Cobbler dessert, available in summer 2024 for a limited time.

The dish features buttermilk biscuit dough made from scratch, sweet peaches, icing and cinnamon sugar, served warm.

Bojangles vice-president of culinary and menu innovation Marshall Scarborough said: “Summer is the season for fresh peaches in the South, so we’re excited to serve up a Southern classic with a Bojangles twist. Our new Peach Cobbler is a great example of our chefs using the Bojangles pantry along with seasonally available peaches to bring one of the most iconic and loved Southern desserts to life in our restaurants.”

The Peach Cobbler can be enjoyed as a standalone sweet treat or paired with one of Bojangles’ summer sandwich combos for a complete meal.

The introduction of the dessert coincides with Bojangles’ recent partnership with WWE [World Wrestling Entertainment], which includes offering four exclusive collectible cups featuring WWE Tag Teams with the purchase of a WWE Sandwich Combo in July 2024.

The seasonal offering will be available while supplies last at participating Bojangles restaurants.

Customers can try the new Peach Cobbler in-store, order through the Bo app for delivery or pick-up, or use a third-party delivery provider.

Founded in 1977 in Charlotte, North Carolina, Bojangles now operates 820 company-owned and franchised restaurants. The company also recently announced the signing of a 30-unit franchise agreement, with new openings set to begin in early 2025.
