American fast food chain Burger King has added crispy pretzel chicken fries to its menu as a limited time option.
Crispy pretzel chicken fries are made using boneless chicken, coated in a salty pretzel breading and seasoned with spices and herbs.
The fries-shaped item is served with Burger King dipping sauces, which are available in various flavours including BBQ, honey mustard, ranch, zesty, buffalo and sweet & sour.
The fries are currently available for $3.09 at participating restaurants across the US. Following the limited time offer, the hamburger chain plans to continue the chicken fries as a permanent menu choice.
In April this year, the company launched a new toasted Sourdough bun range also available for a limited time at participating restaurants across the US.
Burger King, which was founded in 1954 and owned by Restaurant Brands International, now operates more than 15,000 locations in nearly 100 countries and US territories.
