US restaurant chain California Pizza Kitchen (CPK) has partnered with Mike’s Hot Honey to launch a new pizza variety, the Nashville-Style Hot Honey Pizza.
The dish combines the flavours of hot chicken and hot honey pizza along with Mike’s Hot Honey – Extra Hot.
The new pizza is a limited-time offering, available until 30 September 2024.
It features CPK’s hand-battered crispy chicken, ranchito sauce and mozzarella cheese, baked in a hearth oven.
The pizza is finished with cayenne seasoning and dill pickles and drizzled with Mike’s Hot Honey – Extra Hot.
CPK culinary innovation vice-president chef Paul Pszybylski said: “We’re long-time fans of Mike’s Hot Honey, which is why we set out to give our guests an unexpected pizza collaboration like no other.

Mike’s Hot Honey founder Mike Kurtz said: “California Pizza Kitchen is known for its innovative approach to pizza and pushing boundaries, and we’re thrilled to add a unique sweet heat kick to their latest creation.
“We’re excited that our Extra Hot is the star of the pizza, marking the first time it’s been featured in a collaboration.”
Alongside this new offering, CPK also announced the return of seasonal favourites for the 2024 autumn season until November.
The seasonal items include Pumpkin Cheesecake, a creamy dessert on a gingersnap crust, and the Samuel Adams Octoberfest Lager, a traditional Octoberfest beer with a mild hoppy character.
These limited-time offerings for the autumn season are now available at all CPK locations for dine-in, pick-up, and delivery.
With 160 restaurants in ten countries and US territories, CPK’s menu offers hearth-baked pizzas, including Original BBQ Chicken, Thai Chicken and California Club, as well as a selection of salads and pasta dishes.
In early 2024, CPK responded to customer demand by bringing back its Tostada Pizza.
The brand also expanded its menu with new limited-edition dishes: Korean BBQ Steak Pizza, Miso Shrimp Salad and the Tito ‘Rita cocktail.
