Canada-based casual restaurant chain Cactus Club Cafe is set to open its first location in Citigroup Center, Miami.

The Canadian restaurant chain has signed a lease agreement to open an indoor/outdoor restaurant at the Miami Trophy Tower, covering an area of 10,000ft², including a lounge covering.

Sara Wolfe and Lyle Stern of Vertical, a boutique real estate company in Miami, represented the landlord in this transaction.

Stern said: “In addition to truly activating Citigroup Center’s ground floor, which constitutes today’s ultimate office amenity, Cactus Club Cafe is poised to become a dining destination in downtown Miami.

“The restaurant’s dozens of Canadian locations have become sought-after locations for business lunches, happy hours and more. We’re confident that the restaurant’s lively atmosphere will attract Miami’s professionals and become a welcome addition to the city’s renowned culinary scene.”

The opening of a new restaurant location at Citigroup Center in Florida is part of the casual restaurant chain’s US expansion strategy.

Cactus Club Cafe president Andrew Latchford said: “Citigroup Center is the perfect location within downtown and Brickell to launch our Cactus flagship restaurant in Miami.

“Whether lunch, happy hour, dinner or late night, this state-of-the-art Cactus location will be inviting and approachable to the wide variety of building tenants and area diners, offering something for everyone – no matter the occasion.”

Cactus Club Café currently operates 34 locations across Canada, which offer global and local cuisines to its guests.
