Tennessee-based Seafood restaurant chain Captain D’s launched its latest franchised location in Glennville, Georgia, US on 24 April.
Owned by local entrepreneur Zuber Malek, the restaurant is located at 830 North Veterans Boulevard.
Zuber Malek has owned a Dairy Queen since 2006 and has gradually added three more locations. He later launched a Marco’s Pizza in town.
An earlier Huddle House restaurant was transformed to launch the new Captain D’s outlet.
Captain D’s has also been converting other existing restaurants in Georgia over the second quarter of 2023, including a former Bojangles in Savannah and a Dunkin’ in Marietta.
The new restaurant is said to offer seafood at an affordable price.
