US-based quick-service restaurant chain Chick-fil-A has revealed the initial locations of its forthcoming UK restaurants.
With more than 3,000 outlets in the US, Puerto Rico and Canada, the brand plans locations beyond North America with new restaurants in Belfast, Leeds, Liverpool and London.
Chick-fil-A intends to launch five restaurants in the UK within the next two years, utilising both licensed and locally owned and operated models.
Chick-fil-A aims to invest more than $100m in the UK up to 2033. Its initial expansion will generate 400 new jobs at both licensed and franchised locations.
Chick-fil-A restaurants will offer chicken sourced from the UK and use 100% free-range eggs from farms that meet welfare certification standards.
The UK menu will feature items such as the Original Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich, freshly prepared salads and hand-breaded nuggets.
