American fast-casual restaurant chain Chicken Salad Chick has expanded its dessert menu with the launch of the White Chocolate Layer Cake.
The new permanent addition complements the brand’s existing offerings of scratch-made chicken salads, fresh sides and gourmet soups.
The cake features three layers of white chocolate sponge cake made with melted white chocolate, with butter and cream cheese frosting between each tier.
Customers can purchase either a slice or a whole cake. The product is now available across all 260 plus Chicken Salad Chick locations across the nation.
The brand’s dessert menu could be further expanded with cake flavours such as Red Velvet, Chocolate Frosted and Caramel.
Chicken Salad Chick’s strategic move also involved the acquisition of the cake’s Atlanta-based bakery from its founder.
