US fast-casual restaurant chain Chicken Salad Chick is set to open its first store in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.  

The opening is set for Tuesday 10 December 2024 at 1020 NW Pryor Rd, where the first 100 guests will be rewarded with free chicken salad for a year.

The celebration will extend throughout the week with daily specials and giveaways.

The first guest will receive one large Quick Chick of chicken salad weekly for a year, while the next 99 will get monthly servings.

The first 50 customers buying a Chick Trio on Wednesday 11 December will receive a free 40oz Chicken Salad Chick tumbler, while the next day’s offer will be a free large cooler for Quick Chick purchasers.  

Friday 13 December continues with a giveaway of Tervis tumblers, and Saturday 1 December offers free salad scoop or sandwich on the next visit for early Chick Trio purchasers. 

The Greenwoods became interested in Chicken Salad Chick’s Southern style after their son introduced them to it in college.  

The Lee’s Summit team is supporting Hillcrest Transitional Housing to aid local individuals and families overcoming homelessness.

“From the second we tried it; we fell in love! Knowing how obsessed with The Chick we were, our son submitted our information for franchising opportunities. As we began to learn more about the mission and value of Chicken Salad Chick, we knew that this was our calling and next life adventure.” 

In November 2024, Chicken Salad Chick opened its 46th outlet. The location is in  Brunswick, Georgia, expanding the brand’s footprint in the state.
