US-based fast-casual restaurant chain Chicken Salad Chick has announced plans to open its 37th location in the US state of Texas.
Located at 18900 Limestone Commercial Drive in the city of Pflugerville, the new restaurant will open on 25 March 2025.
It will offer in-restaurant and outdoor patio dining, kerbside pickup, take-out, third-party delivery and catering services.
Chicken Salad Chick president and CEO Scott Deviney stated: “Texas remains a key development state for Chicken Salad Chick, one we’re thrilled to keep growing our presence in.”
The Pflugerville location will be owned and operated by Troy Morrison.
Morrison recently acquired rights to open 14 Chicken Salad Chick restaurants in the Austin area, including the Pflugerville outlet.
He purchased operating locations and development rights in Indianapolis, Indiana and in Tulsa, Oklahoma markets in early 2025, complementing his existing Chicken Salad Chick locations in Oklahoma City.
Morrison said: “I’m proud to continue growing Chicken Salad Chick’s footprint and introduce the brand to the Pflugerville community,”
“My love for the brand has only grown as I continue to expand my restaurant portfolio. Chicken Salad Chick is unlike any other restaurant concept I’ve worked with – the brand’s dedication to providing exceptional food and delivering an incredible dining experience is truly unmatched.”
The chain will offer the first 100 guests on opening day free chicken salad for a year.
Scott Deviney added: “With Troy Morrison at the helm of the Pflugerville restaurant, we know the community is in great hands. Since joining us, Troy has been a force in our franchise network – his strong franchising background and dedication to serving others make him an outstanding partner in growing our brand.”
The latest development comes after Chicken Salad Chick announced plans in March 2025 to open a new outlet in Missouri City – the chain’s 36th in Texas.
