American fast casual chain Chipotle Mexican Grill has partnered with DoorDash to make delivery services available from its 1,500 restaurants across the US.

Customers can now place orders from Chipotle restaurants using the DoorDash mobile app or website. The nationwide partnership marks the largest delivery footprint for the restaurant chain to date.

Chipotle chief digital and information officer Curt Garner said: “Delivery is an important way we are making Chipotle even more convenient and accessible to our customers who want to get Chipotle delivered right to their home, office, or wherever they are.

“The restaurant is offering free delivery service to customers on orders of $10 or more placed through DoorDash for a week.”

Headquartered in Denver, the restaurant chain currently operates more than 2,400 restaurants offering a wide range of menu choices including burritos, tacos, burrito bowls and salads.

DoorDash offers on-demand delivery service to local and national businesses in more than 800 cities across the US and Canada.
