ChowNow, an online ordering and marketing platform, has acquired Cuboh, a company specialising in streamlining online orders for the restaurant industry.

Cuboh’s platform consolidate orders from various food delivery services into one interface and improves operational efficiency with a reduced number of errors.

With this acquisition, ChowNow plans to integrate these capabilities, providing a seamless operational experience for its restaurant partners.

The companies did not reveal the financial and other terms of the deal.

ChowNow CEO Chris Webb said: “Operators are continuing to expand their off-premise business to meet customer demand, however it’s complex for their teams to manage.

“We’re looking forward to offering our partners a complete digital platform that seamlessly integrates into their POS system, allowing restaurant teams to focus their energy on their craft.”

Restaurants currently using Cuboh will gain access to ChowNow’s comprehensive suite of products, including ChowNow Pro, Order Better Network, the commission-free ChowNow marketplace, and Flex Delivery.

With the acquisition, ChowNow’s technology will now directly connect into 14 of the key point-of-sale (POS) systems in North America, marking a substantial expansion.

Cuboh co-founder and CEO Juan Orrego said: “We started Cuboh with a simple mission: to help restaurants digitize their operations in an efficient, affordable way.

“That’s why this opportunity with ChowNow is so exciting for our team. Restaurants can very easily sign up and get everything they need in one place, including a reliable POS integration.

“This is only the beginning for what’s possible; together, our teams can make a tangible impact on our restaurant partners to help them grow their businesses.”
