Mexican fast-casual franchise Cilantro Taco Grill is poised for significant expansion across the US, with plans to open more than 100 new units.

This rapid growth comes less than six months after the brand signed its first franchise agreement in January 2024.

The company has entered agreements with six different franchise groups, resulting in a total of 110 units in development across Illinois, Texas, California and Florida.

Hemant Patel, Cilantro Taco Grill’s inaugural franchisee, has signed on to the expansion to contribute to the brand’s growth.

Patel also franchises with Subway, Checkers, Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin Robbins.

Franchise agreements have also been secured with Hector Haget for six restaurant units in Dallas, Texas and Orange County, California.
