Qatar Airways is making various improvements to its in-flight economy dining experience, including larger meal portions and a range of mid-flight movie snacks.
A new economy class on-board experience branded Quisine has been revealed to further elevate customers’ dining experience when they travel with the airline.
The service is being introduced across the airline’s network, starting with to and from Brussels, Cardiff, Gothenburg, Moscow and St Petersburg.
Passengers on long-haul routes will get redesigned menu cards, including a service timeline. On flights of five hours or longer, customers will be offered pre-dinner drinks option with refreshments and cocktail snacks.
Food portions are also being increased by 25% and 50%, with meals featuring individually wrapped artisan warm infused bread and an individual bottle of water.
A wider range of mid-flight movie snacks includes an array of cheese and crackers, chocolate bar, potato crisps and popcorn, with flavors such as Himalayan Salted Caramel and French Butter and Pink Salt provided by gourmet popcorn brand 4700BC.
