The Comptoir Group, which owns and operates Lebanese, Middle Eastern and North African-inspired restaurants, has opened the Comptoir Libanais restaurant at Milan Malpensa Airport in Italy.
The new location is Comptoir’s first venture in the Italian market.
The new Comptoir Libanais restaurant is located at Terminal 1 and caters to both travellers and visitors.
It features a contemporary design and ambiance, accommodates 210 guests and offers a diverse menu for all tastes.
The opening of the new restaurant marks Comptoir’s first partnership with Areas, a global food and beverage concessions company.
The partnership combines Areas’ expertise in airport hospitality and Comptoir’s commitment to showcasing Middle Eastern and North African cuisine and culture.

Comptoir Group CEO Nick Ayerst said: “We are excited to bring our culinary expertise to Milan Malpensa. This opening marks our 4th airport concession following the opening of our Shawa restaurant at Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi in March [2024].

Comptoir Group opened the Comptoir Libanais location at the Southbank Centre, central London in April 2024.
Comptoir Libanais, located opposite the Royal Festival Hall, offers an all-day dining experience with a 135-seat restaurant and an additional 48 seats in an outdoor dining area.
This restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. Its menu includes grills, salads and wraps.
