Cornerstone Restaurant Group is set to open four restaurants at Mohegan INSPIRE Entertainment Resort (INSPIRE) in South Korea.

Mohegan’s INSPIRE is an integrated resort scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of this year.

The four restaurant concepts include Michael Jordan’s Steak House, MJ23 Sports Bar & Grill, Hi-Fi Chicken & Beer and Brasserie 1783.

Designed by Korean firm Kesson, Michael Jordan’s Steak House will offer its guests the finest cuts of meat, with an atmosphere that pays homage to the famous greatest basketball player.

MJ23 Sports Bar & Grill will serve contemporary American cuisine and provide a sports viewing experience.

Hi-Fi Chicken & Beer will be a casual diner serving Korean-style fried chicken paired with ice-cold beer.

Brasserie 1783 will be a French-inspired all-day brasserie featuring a hot air balloon-shaped bar, a raw bar, a patisserie, a coffee bar and an outdoor patio.

Cornerstone Restaurant Group president Joshua Zadikoff said: “This is a project a long time in the making and it’s something we’re so proud to be part of.

“We’ve always had plans to make our concepts international. What better way to make a global impression than to bring Michael Jordan’s Steak House and three other concepts to the premier new entertainment destination in Asia.”

The restaurant group’s decision to open new restaurants in South Korea is part of its global growth strategy.

With these new restaurant concepts, Cornerstone has further strengthened its more than 20-year partnership with Mohegan, which operates a portfolio of premier global integrated entertainment resorts.

Mohegan president and CEO Ray Pineault said: “Mohegan has enjoyed such a remarkable and productive relationship with Cornerstone Restaurant Group and we’re so thrilled about this new venture we’re working on for Mohegan INSPIRE.

“Michael Jordan’s Steak House and the MJ23 Sports Bar & Grill are two of our most popular restaurants at our flagship property, Mohegan Sun, Connecticut, and to bring these two concepts to South Korea, along with brand-new concepts as well, is very exciting.”
