British coffeehouse chain Costa Coffee has announced the early launch of seasonal favourites in its UK locations.

The company is bringing back Mince Tart and All Butter Mince Pie.

The Mince Tart, which is a gluten-free option suitable for vegans, is making a comeback adorned with a pastry star and dusted with sugar.

On the other hand, the traditional All Butter Mince Pie is filled with mincemeat, topped with a pastry decoration, and finished with a sugar dusting.

Adding to the festive lineup, Costa Coffee is also reintroducing the Terry’s Chocolate Orange Muffin.

This treat is a combination of chocolate and orange in a muffin, filled with chocolate orange sauce, topped with icing, and crowned with a segment of Terry’s Chocolate Orange.

Costa Coffee Global Food Strategy and UKI Food director Nishant Bhatia said: “Christmas is all about coming together with friends and family, and what better way to catch up than with a delightful festive sweet treat, perfectly paired with a Costa coffee.”

Established in London in 1971 by Italian brothers Sergio and Bruno Costa, Costa Coffee operates in 50 countries.

It has 2,700 coffee shops across the UK and Ireland, as well as over 1,300 locations globally.

Last month, Costa Coffee expanded its presence in the UK by opening a new store in Leeds.

The venue featured a contemporary design with seating options available both indoors and outdoors. The new store created eight new employment opportunities in the region.
