Costa Coffee has announced the opening of its newly renovated Tooley Street store in central London, UK.
The Tooley Street location has introduced touchscreen ordering systems to streamline the purchasing process for guests.
Alongside this technological upgrade, the store features a contemporary seating area, a refreshed counter space and locally inspired artwork.
The revamped store also features comfortable furniture and numerous charging points for customer use.
To further enhance the customer experience, the Tooley Street store now caters to users of the Costa Club App and patrons ordering through Costa Coffee’s delivery partners.
The store’s menu has been expanded to include a new selection of freshly baked pastries such as Cheese Twists and Pain au Chocolat.
To support the upgraded store, Costa Coffee has also expanded its team, adding two additional baristas.
Costa Coffee regional operations director Luke Shaughnessy said: “We’re thrilled to unveil the refreshed Costa Coffee store on Tooley Street, designed to be the perfect space for all.
“With a fresh bakery range, the latest technology for seamless ordering, and a bright, uplifted interior, our renovated London store is the ideal spot for customers to recharge and connect with friends, family or colleagues, or to quickly pick up their Costa coffee whilst they’re on-the-go.”
In June 2024 Costa Coffee teamed-up with European airline easyJet to offer coffee options to passengers onboard.
The partnership is aimed at improving the in-flight experience for passengers by expanding the EAT.DRINK.SHOP range, which is available across easyJet’s extensive network.
Collaboration between the two allows easyJet passengers to order a range of Costa Coffee beverages, including Cappuccino, Latte, Salted Caramel Latte and a decaf option.
