Crisp & Green, a US fast-casual restaurant chain specialising in whole meals, is set to open its 20th location in the state of Minnesota on 3 August 2024.

Multi-unit operator Eat Wise is launching Minnesota’s newest and northernmost location at 1010 Woodland Avenue, Duluth.

As part of its opening ceremony, the new restaurant will host VIP preview nights with complimentary food and a free outdoor fitness event.

The Crisp & Green chain, founded by Steele Smiley in 2016, opened its first store in Minnesota at Wayzata, a lakeside suburb to the west of the city of Minneapolis.

Offerings include salads, wraps, grain bowls, kids’ meals, smoothies and beverages.

Smiley said: “Crisp & Green started with a very simple idea – to make it easier for people to live a healthier life. We’ve created food that not only tastes amazing but fuels our guests’ active and busy lifestyles.”

The brand now has 200 locations either open or in development across 15 US states.

As part of its growth strategy, Crisp & Green has partnered with Oakscale Franchise Partners, a full-service franchise sales organisation.

Crisp & Green offers an extensive franchisee training programme at its Wayzata location in which franchisees experience a detailed curriculum in restaurant operations.

In April 2024, Crisp & Green announced its plan to open 11 locations across the Chicagoland area from 2025.
