German food delivery company Delivery Hero is consolidating its European and Asian operations by merging three of its businesses — Foodora, Yemeksepeti and Foodpanda.

The move aligns with Delivery Hero’s strategy to sustain profitable growth and strengthen its global market leadership.

The aim is to reduce costs and simplify processes as the company grows.

The merger will create the second-largest division within Delivery Hero.

Tareq Barto, current chief operating officer of Talabat, Delivery Hero’s Middle Eastern food delivery platform, will oversee the consolidation.

He has served across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
