US-based family-run barbecue restaurant chain Dickey’s Barbecue Pit has expanded its footprint in Canada with the opening of a new location in Calgary, Alberta.
The latest addition is Dickey’s third venue in the city.

The new venue, situated at 921 7 Ave SW, Calgary, AB T2P 1A6, is operated by recent franchisee Mahbuba Safi.
Safi said: “We are incredibly excited to bring Dickey’s Barbecue to another part of Calgary. I can’t wait for the Calgary community to experience the delicious, authentic barbecue that Dickey’s is known for.”
The Calgary location serves Texas-style brisket, beef short ribs, marinated chicken and slow-cooked turkey, available as plates, sandwiches and sliders.

In February 2025, Dickey’s Barbecue Pit launched the Hot Honey BBQ Chicken Sandwich as a limited-time offering until March
The sandwich combines hot honey with Dickey’s signature barbecue flavours, and features barbecue sauce, honey and brisket rub on a toasted garlic brioche bun.
