Dine Brands Global International, a US-based full-service restaurant company, is expanding the footprint of its International House of Pancakes (IHOP) restaurant brand in Qatar.
To this end, Dine Brands has signed an agreement with Mohamed Makawi, CEO of Eagles Landing International Restaurants and an IHOP franchisee in the region.
Makawi said: “We are excited to open our first location in Doha and to continue expanding IHOP in the Middle East.
“The brand’s casual atmosphere, beautifully designed interior and exterior, and the family-friendly fare will be a welcomed addition to the community and a space for guests of all ages to come together and enjoy IHOP’s wide variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner items.”
According to the terms of the agreement, four new IHOP restaurants will be opened in Qatar over the next four years.
The first restaurant is planned to open at the Gulf Mall in Doha in the upcoming months.
