DPC Dash, the exclusive master franchisee of Domino’s Pizza in mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau, has opened its 900th store in Chengdu, China.

The opening of the new store is part of DPC Dash’s “go broader, go deeper” strategy.

The company described the opening as met with “enthusiasm from customers, who formed long queues outside the newest location, eager to experience its offerings.”

It aims to open approximately 240 net new stores in 2024, to reach the 1,000-store milestone by the end of the fourth quarter of the year.

DPC Dash plans to expand its signature flavours and localised offerings to an even larger customer base.

DPC Dash executive director and CEO Aileen Wang said: “We are thrilled to have opened our 900th store by the first half of 2024, showcasing the efficient execution of our current strategy despite the challenging business environment.

“As we continue the expansion across China, we remain committed to meeting the growing demand for high-quality, value-for-money pizzas throughout the country.”

In December 2023, DPC Dash opened ten new stores across eight cities in China.

The new stores were opened in locations including Tangshan, Changsha, Yangzhou, Fuzhou and Nantong.

DPC Dash seeks to offer Chinese consumers affordable pizzas through online channels, with an emphasis on delivery and technology enhancements.
