US-based pizza chain Domino’s Pizza has expanded its presence in Bangladesh with the opening of its 37th outlet.  

The new restaurant is located in Dargah Gate, Sylhet, as reported by The Business Standard. 

During the launch event on 20 January 2025, the leadership team from Domino’s Pizza Bangladesh was joined by students from SOS Children’s Village, an organisation dedicated to providing free education and care to orphans. 

Domino’s Pizza Bangladesh chief operations officer Ahmed Shoyeb Iqbal was quoted by the publication: “Domino’s Pizza has been one of the fastest-growing food brands in the country, and we are proud of opening our second restaurant in Sylhet city and 37th restaurant in Bangladesh.  

“We continuously innovate our menu offerings to bring the best experiences to our guests in Bangladesh. At the same time, we are expanding our restaurant network to meet the demands of our growing customer base in the country.  

“We sincerely thank the people of Bangladesh for their continued patronage and support for Domino’s Pizza. Their love and affection continue to motivate us to move ahead with our expansion. We look forward to welcoming the local community to our new restaurant in Sylhet.”

The brand commits to delivering “fresh and piping hot” pizzas within 30 minutes of ordering. 

The Sylhet location extends Domino’s delivery services to areas such as Amborkhana, Jalalabad, Hawapara and Dargah Gate.  

Domino’s Pizza began its journey in Bangladesh in March 2019 with the opening of its first restaurant in Dhaka, at Dhanmondi.  

The Dhanmondi outlet features a pizza kitchen theatre design that allows customers to watch their pizzas being made.
