Global pizza chain Domino’s Pizza has expanded its global presence with the opening of the first restaurant in Dhaka Bangladesh.
Located in Dhanmondi, the restaurant features a new pizza theatre design including the latest interior and seating, an open kitchen design offering a front row seat for customers to watch the pizza-making process.
The company has partnered with Domino’s master franchisee Jubilant FoodWorks and its Bangladesh-based operator Golden Harvest to manage the business in the country, as well as serve online orders from customers.
Jubilant FoodWorks CEO Pratik Pota said: “We are excited to launch the first Domino’s restaurant in Dhaka and look forward to offering a menu that keeps the needs and preferences of local customers in mind, while also offering the best of the brand’s international menu.
“We believe that our high-quality products and value will resonate well with customers. We will also be one of the first brands to launch an ordering app that will help to redefine the pizza ordering experience for customers in Bangladesh.”
The international pizza chain is planning to open additional locations in the country later this year. Domino’s currently operates more than 15,900 stores in over 85 markets globally.
