US-based Donatos Pizza has chosen Revmo AI as its preferred partner to roll out a new voice ordering system that will automate phone orders across its entire network.
The franchise, which operates 174 locations across the US, expects full implementation of the Revmo AI system by May 2024.

The decision comes as Donatos prepares for the discontinuation of DoorDash AI’s automated ordering functionality at the end of April.
Following an evaluation process that included voice AI providers such as SoundHound and Kea, Donatos selected Revmo for its ability to enhance the guest ordering experience and improve conversion rates.
Donatos Pizza CEO and president Kevin King stated: “Revmo’s voice AI ordering system allows us to provide a more convenient and consistent experience for our guests.
“We expect this technology to not only delight our customers but also increase order conversions and revenue across our stores.”
The new voice AI system will form a central part of Donatos’ restaurant automation strategy, aimed at reducing staff workload.
Revmo’s platform offers full integration with Donatos’ point-of-sale (POS) infrastructure and includes features such as secure credit card processing via phone and automatic application of coupons.
A key feature is Revmo’s INSANO Mode voice engine, designed to simulate a human-like conversational interaction.

Donatos Pizza, established in 1963 by Jim Grote in Columbus, Ohio, is a family-owned business.
In addition to its traditional restaurant footprint, the brand is available in around 300 non-traditional venues, including select Red Robin locations.
In March 2025, Donatos Pizza announced plans to introduce a lineup of new and returning sweet and spicy items, including new Smoky Hot Honey Pizza and Smoky Hot Honey Chicken Sub, at all its locations.
