
On-demand restaurant delivery service DoorDash has expanded its presence to Albuquerque, New Mexico, with the launch of its door-to-door delivery service.
Operating in more than 650 cities across the country, the service is currently available in Loma Colorado, Windmill Estates, Los Rancheros, Bosque Dell Acres, Saragossa, the University of New Mexico, Taylor Ranch, Corrales, West Mesa, Barelas, Old Town Albuquerque, South Valley, Nob Hill, North Valley and Sandia Heights.
Customers can now order food and drinks from more than 900 local restaurants through the company’s food delivery service.
The company is also planning to extend the service from its partner restaurants such as Wendy’s, Black Angus Steakhouse, Buffalo Wild Wings and Red Robin Gourmet Burgers & Brews to the area.
DoorDash CEO and co-founder Tony Xu said: “We love the ABQ community and have been looking to expand to the area for a while.
“We are thrilled to finally be able to offer ABQ residents delivery from their favourite local and national restaurants.”
Separately, the company has announced availability in the Fresno and Clovis area as well as Oxnard, Camarillo, and Ventura in California’s Central Coast.
Established in 2013, DoorDash provides food ordering services from local and national restaurants across the US and Canada.
Services offered by the technology company include data-driven insights, on-demand delivery and in-store efficiency.
