US-based food delivery company DoorDash has opened its new DoorDash Kitchens unit in San Jose, California.
According to a report by Restaurant Dive, the new location offers delivery, pickup and dine-in services from ten local and regional food vendors.
It will offer food items offered by various vendors such as Aria Korean Street Food, Ivan’s Chicken Shokudo, Koi Palace, Little Spoon, Nekter Juice Bar, Plentiful, Sweet Street and The Melt.
The San Jose DoorDash Kitchen will also feature offerings from Academic Coffee and, in the future, the San Francisco concept Souvla and Milk Bar.
According to Nation’s Restaurant News, the new food hall’s dine-in experience allows customers to place their order through the DoorDash app or in-house using the kiosks or QR codes and enjoy it onsite.
DoorDash new restaurant models head Ashlee Tran was quoted by Nation’s Restaurant News as saying: “DoorDash Kitchens is looking forward to serving the San José community once again, after a warm welcome from residents during our limited-time pop-up almost two years ago.
