Dunkin’ has entered into store development agreements with various franchisees to open 50 new locations across the US.
The expansion is part of the company’s plans to add 200-250 net new restaurants each year over the next three years in the US.
As part of agreements, the donut chain will focus on markets such as Texas, Michigan, Kentucky, Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Nevada, and Missouri to open the new locations over the next few years.
In Texas, the company has partnered with its franchisee Sizzling Donuts to develop two restaurants in El Paso, and Corpus Christi.
It also signed an agreement with Texas-based franchise group Mesquite County Business Venture to develop six locations across San Antonio.
In Michigan, Dunkin’ signed agreements with franchisees Amit and Kalpesh Patel, Chris Haddad, Jeff Haddad and Danielle Schertzing, and Fares Hattar to open five locations in Lansing and Battle Creek.

The company’s existing franchisee George Ross with Coastal Franchising Raleigh will develop 16 new units in the Raleigh-Durham area of North Carolina.
Dunkin’ Brands franchising and business development CFE senior vice-president Grant Benson said: “As we continue our national expansion with new and existing franchisees, we are bringing our modernised design and beverage-led brand into new areas beyond the Northeast.
“With modifications, such as our on-tap cold beverages, high-quality drive-thrus, and on-the-go mobile ordering capabilities, we plan to capitalise on the momentum we experienced in 2018 and continue providing ‘great coffee, fast’ for years to come.”
Franchise group NVGRE Donut, in collaboration with franchisees Greg Novak, Vijay Patel, Ryan Hassett, Nicky Hassett and Eugene Novak, is in plans to develop six restaurants across Las Vegas, Nevada.
The company has also partnered with franchisees Amit, Kalpesh Patel and Michael Crouchi to open seven restaurants across St. Louis, Missouri.
In addition, Dunkin’ is targeting various markets such as California, North and South Carolina, Arkansas, Nevada, Michigan, Texas, and Georgia for growth to expand its presence this year by offering franchisee opportunities to existing and new franchisees.
