Global franchising company FAT Brands has partnered with Frankie’s Burger Enterprises to develop ten co-branded Fatburger and Buffalo’s Express concepts in Canada.

The expansion will increase the company’s presence across the country to more than 65 Fatburger restaurants.

FAT Brands CEO Andy Wiederhorn said: “We are honoured to continue our partnership with Frank DiBenedetto of Frankie’s Burger Enterprises, to further expand our footprint in the region.

FAT Brands offers a wide range of burgers featuring add-ons such as chilli, maple bacon, guacamole, pineapple and fried eggs at these new locations.

It also offers boneless and bone-in chicken wings with more than 13 different sauces.

Frankie’s Burger Enterprises is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ricky’s All Day Grill Restaurants. It is headquartered in Burnaby, British Columbia.

Last month, the company signed a development deal with Bloomfield for six co-branded Fatburger and Buffalo’s Express restaurants across Shanghai, China.

FAT Brands currently owns seven restaurant brands including Fatburger, Buffalo’s Cafe, Buffalo’s Express, Hurricane Grill & Wings, Yalla Mediterranean and Ponderosa and Bonanza Steakhouses.
