US-based fast casual Italian restaurant chain Fazoli’s has expanded its presence in Florida’s Tampa area with the opening of a new venue at 24791 FL-54 in Lutz.

This is the second restaurant Fazoli’s has introduced in Tampa and its sixth in the state.

Fazoli’s Lutz location serves a range of Italian favourites including pasta, subs, salads, pizzas and desserts.

It is open Sunday through to Thursday from 10:30am to 10:00pm, and Friday and Saturday from 10:30am to 11:00pm.

Fazoli’s president Gregg Nettleton said: “We’re proud to open our sixth location in Florida, which underscores our commitment to expanding in the state.

“We have incredible fans in Florida who continue to welcome us from day one. From waiting in opening day lines to ordering their fair share of unlimited breadsticks, their dedication to the brand makes each opening special.

“We expect the same success in Lutz with our fast, fresh and affordable Italian cuisine.”

Owned by FAT Brands, Fazoli’s was established in Lexington, Kentucky in 1988, and currently owns and operates 220 restaurants across 26 states, positioning it as a leading quick service restaurant (QSR) Italian chain in the US.

In addition to Fazoli’s, the FAT Brands portfolio includes restaurant brands such as Round Table Pizza, Fatburger, Marble Slab Creamery, Johnny Rockets, Twin Peaks and Great American Cookies.

In September 2023, Fazoli’s opened its second restaurant location in Little Rock, Arizona.

Located at 11410 W Markham St, it offers dine-in and drive-through services.
