Fogo de Chão, the US restaurant chain known for its southern Brazilian cuisine, has unveiled plans to open 20 new locations as part of its global expansion plan.
The company will open new restaurants in the US and other international markets, building upon the momentum of previously announced domestic and international leases.
Its development pipeline for 2024 and 2025 includes new lease signings and restaurant openings, with the brand’s 100th restaurant milestone anticipated by the end of 2024.
Previously announced openings for 2024 feature key US cities including Brooklyn, Richmond, Miami, Bridgewater, Seattle and Orlando. Expansion in Canada is also on the horizon with agreements in place for Toronto and Vancouver.
Newly announced domestic leases and planned openings will see Fogo de Chão entering markets such as Santa Monica, Oklahoma City, Washington DC, Nashville and San Antonio.
The brand will also boost its international presence with new locations in Manila, Brasilia, Istanbul and São Paulo.

The design of the upcoming restaurants will incorporate next-level elements such as enclosed patios, rooftops and lounges.
The Next Level Lounge platform will be rolled out, offering an elevated bar experience with craft cocktails, South American wines and premium spirits.
Fogo de Chão expanded its footprint in 2023 by opening restaurants in strategic markets including Rhode Island, California, Texas, Mexico and Ecuador, setting the stage for its ambitious growth over the coming years.

In December 2023, Fogo de Chão also signed a lease agreement to open its fourth location in New York City.
The new 5,009ft² location will join Fogo’s three other NYC venues when it opens in 2024 at the Oculus in Westfield World Trade Center, the largest shopping complex in Manhattan.
