Coffee shop Foxtrot will re-open its first location in Chicago, Illinois, US on 5 September 2024.

Located at 23 W Maple on Chicago’s Gold Coast, the reopening of Foxtrot Café & Market is a milestone for the brand, which closed its doors unexpectedly in April 2024 under its former parent company, Outfox.

The brand is being revived by its co-founders, with plans to re-open more locations in Chicago and Dallas through 2025.

The re-opened Café & Market store will offer an expanded coffee experience and a re-imagined food offering.

It will cater to guests throughout the day, with a full-day menu that includes breakfast, lunch and afternoon options.

It will offer signature breakfast tacos and a variety of new menu items such as panini sandwiches, salads and bowls for lunch, complemented by an assortment of pastries and cookies.

Foxtrot’s coffee line-up includes blends such as The Milk Man Blend and Early Train Espresso, crafted specifically for Foxtrot cafés.

In addition to its own coffee offerings, Foxtrot will continue its partnership with Chicago roasters and partners, offering retail bean and consumer packaged goods selections from Metric and Kyoto Black.

The store will also see the re-introduction of gummies and gummy mixes, alongside new products from small and local makers.

Foxtrot chairman Mike LaVitola said: “Our new coffee and food menus are a true reflection of Foxtrot’s founding principle: taking the ingredients we’re passionate about, partnering with the best purveyors, and making them a special part of our day — and yours — every day.”
