US-based fast-casual restaurant concept Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers has reached multiple franchise development agreements to bolster its footprint across the country.
Spearheaded by five of its current franchisees, the brand will build restaurants in 12 locations across target markets.
This move will enable Freddy’s to expand its reach in the states of Montana, Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota, Illinois, Nevada, Missouri and Texas.
While Michelle Becker and Taylor Dietz of Montana Steakburgers will open four new Freddy’s locations in Montana, TR Hospitality and Ron Oberg will build two locations in Gretna and Fremont, Nebraska.
Mike and Steven Young of MLY will be in charge of opening four Freddy’s locations in Rochester, Minnesota and La Crosse, Wisconsin.
Furthermore, Jason Jones with Outlaw Management will build four restaurants across Texas, while Meyer & Lovinger Restaurant Partners will take charge of one new location in Missouri.
Freddy’s chief development officer Andrew Thengvall said: “As we continue to accelerate our growth across the country, we are thrilled to build upon the partnerships we have established with these experienced multi-unit operators who emulate Freddy’s vision and values.
“I’m confident that their passion for the brand and knowledge of their respective communities will lead to great success. We look forward to supporting each group as they begin building their new restaurants.”
Freddy’s recent projects include collaboration with Creative Realities to introduce digitalised menu boards and the launch of its first airport location in Will Rogers World Airport, Oklahoma City.
In June, the brand signed development agreements with several franchisees to open 57 stores in Texas.
These franchisees include BSPub Holdings, Ram-Z Restaurant Group and Outlaw Management.
