Fast-casual restaurant brand Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers has signed four new franchise agreements which will see the opening of 21 new locations across the US.

The deals were signed with existing as well as new franchisees and marked Freddy’s entry into Washington State.

Puget Sound Bites, under the leadership of Imrit Chattrath and Jasdeep Singh, has committed to a ten-unit development agreement for the Seattle market – Freddy’s first venture into Washington.

Imrit Chattrath said: “Our new journey with Freddy’s has been driven by a deep belief in the brand’s values and premium quality menu items.

“Their commitment to excellence solidified our decision to invest with them. We’re eager to deliver that exceptional Freddy’s dining experience to all the guests in our new markets.” 

The Midwest will see the addition of three new Freddy’s locations.

 MLY Investments, led by father and son duo Mike and Steven Young, will introduce thee brand to Rock Island and Knox County Illinois, and Des Moines, Iowa.

The Youngs’ current portfolio includes ten operational locations and a further 15 in development across the Midwest.

In the East, Peter Labib has been granted a franchise licence to establish four Freddy’s restaurants in Monmouth County, New Jersey.

Frank Fayyaz of ARF Restaurants has signed a deal to open an additional four locations in the Austin, Texas area.

With 530 restaurants already across 36 US states, Freddy’s is poised to expand further with more than 130 new locations planned for development in 2024 and 2025.

In August 2024, Freddy’s entered into a multi-unit development agreement to open ten new restaurants across Greenville and Spartanburg counties, South Carolina.
