Fast-casual restaurant concept Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers has expanded its presence in the US with the opening of a new restaurant in Georgia.

Opened on 19 December 2023, the new restaurant is located at 1321 SR 40 in Georgia’s Kingsland.

It will serve customers from Sundays to Thursdays between 10:30am and 10pm, and from 10:30am to 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

The 3,979ft² freestanding restaurant can accommodate 88 people in its dining space.

It offers dine-in and drive-through services, and orders can also be placed via its app and website.

Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers franchise owner Kyle Gerstner stated: “Our newest location is located off of I-95, where we look forward to becoming a convenient dining option for travellers, those who work in the area, and guests staying at the nearby hotels.

Established in Wichita, Kansas, in 2002, Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers was co-founded by brothers Bill and Randy Simon and their business partner Scott Redler.

It has more than 500 locations across the US.

It offers cooked-to-order steakburgers made using ground beef, shoestring fries, all-beef hot dogs and other savoury items, along with frozen custard treats.

Gerstner stated: “We have two popular speciality orders we regularly recommend to first-time guests: the Freddy’s Original Double and the Signature Turtle Sundae.

“There are several condiment and topping options for our food and freshly churned frozen custard, so we encourage you to customise your orders to your liking. We also offer a variety of limited-time menu items throughout each year.”

The latest milestone comes shortly after Freddy’s signed a new development agreement to open five new restaurants in Alberta, Canada.
